I just was over there after having not been there in a long long time, and they're not hosting any MST3K anymore as far as I could tell. They directed people over to DAP.
I could be mistaken but that's what it looked like. I had good ratios too so I don't think I was locked out or anything.

Yes, I can confirm that all of the DAP's MST3K episodes are being handled by its own tracker now.

The main site is here: www.dapcentral.org, the tracker is here: tracker.dapcentral.org

The major change from Myspleen's format is that the DAP's MST3K DVDs are now .iso format.

      Enjoy!

Mason - Do you think you could still send me a MySpleen account invite if you're still a member? There were a few other things that are supposedly on that site that I also wanted to see if I could find.

If not, thanks to the both of you for your help!

Sorry, I don't have any to give out. My ratio isn't great at the moment, and until they start allowing uTorrent 1.7.x, it may never get any higher.

          Keep trying, and good luck!

I had a good ratio I think, I could maybe help you out. You could also...if you want to be an ass about it go to bugmenot and find a login name there, but you probably want create you're own profile and ratio etc.

        sorry I'm tired...what's iso format?
does that mean I need some new special player?

Iso is a disc image format, and it's what the DAP is uses for their DVDs (but their .avi versions are still .avi files...). When they were using the donkey, the DVD was separated into parts, and you would reassemble them with DVD Decrypter (or similar) and then burn the disc.

(And when Myspleen had MST3K dvds on their tracker, it was just the standard VIDEO_TS folder format. )

Anyhoo, you'll need to burn the ISO file to dvd, usually using the 'burn image to disc' (or something similar) option. Most DVD burning progs should have that option now.

You can also 'mount' the image on your HD, rather than burn it to disc, but that's a little more involved.

it will play as a dvd?

              If burned properly, yes.

A .iso file is effectively a "disk image".

If you have a DVD burner it probably came with software that will burn a disc image.

If not you can get a free util that will burn it for you with just a right click on the file.
                isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isor...r.htm
Works on XP and Vista. This is a free util with no spyware, adware or other surprises.

I used to use isorecorder all the time. Lately it is telling me my DVDs are not usable in the drive.

It is real easy to use when it works though.

I downloaded and installed InfraRecorder and it had no problem with the same DVDs in the same recorder.
